What do you do on those hot summer nights? This summer was either too wet or too dry so having a campfire with s’mores was rare. I don’t know about y’all but one of my favorite things to do in the summertime is roast marshmallows. Now I am still learning how to make the best gooey golden marshmallow as I usually get it caught on fire. Ironically, my husband who isn’t the biggest fan of s’mores and rarely has one roasts the best marshmallows.
But in reality most of those hot summer nights were spent inside taking care of our infant. Yes being a mom is the best thing that has happened to me and I am so blessed to have a little one who loves his mama. However, this mama needs to alone time too! So while family visited, my mom watched our son inside the house. That way this mama was able to get some campfire time with friends and family.
This summer I was able to mark the “S’more Lovin'” session as complete TWICE! One of my couples drove to my house to enjoy this little cozy spot in my backyard. A quick Target run supplied all of the cozy vibes, of course. Creating memories while capturing memories is one of the best things about my job. Not only do I guide you for posing but I can set up a cozy little spot for you too!
I’ll never forget the nights we felt alive as we roasted s’mores by the fireside on those hot summer nights.
