Get to Know the Photographer
Life is more than just work, so here’s a little peek into what makes me, me. When I’m not documenting love stories, I’m likely out in the garden, picking fruits and veggies with my kids. My family and I live in the home my grandparents built, and keeping up the garden they started is my way of staying close to them and creating traditions that I hope my kids will pass down someday, too. It’s no surprise that my little ones love to snack as they pick—there’s nothing better than sneaking a fresh blackberry right off the bush! Teaching my kids the value of growing our own food and connecting with the earth has been one of my greatest joys.
Family is everything to me, and that also includes my husband, our three German Shepherds (Zipporah, Zeus, and Indie), and our two cats (Finnegan and Archie). Our house is never quiet, but that’s the way I like it—lively, full, and brimming with love and laughter.

When it comes to photographing your big day, I’m all about capturing the real, raw moments—the laughter, the small gestures, the in-between glances that make your love story unique. My approach is simple: I want you to feel like yourself, totally comfortable and having a blast, so your photos reflect the real you. I like to think of myself as your friend and biggest fan, not just your photographer. I’ll hold bouquets, fix your hair, keep things relaxed, and maybe even crack a few jokes to keep you laughing!
Above all, I want your photography experience to feel seamless, fun, and 100% authentic to you. When you look back on these photos, I want you to remember exactly how you felt in each moment. Let’s make memories that last a lifetime, with photos that feel like you.

The water, honestly. I love fishing but sometimes just the relaxation of the waves and the sound of the bullfrogs on a crisp summer morning. I'm sure it'll change when I finally see the mountains I've always dreamed of living by.

We cannot say enough good things about Mariah and her photography skills! Mariah has photographed my husband and I’s engagement pictures, our wedding, a boudoir session, and we are now excited to have her do our maternity photos! Neither my husband or I are naturals in front of a camera, but Mariah does a great job of making you feel comfortable and capturing candid photos that look so natural and beautiful. She helped us navigate planning our wedding day timeline and was such a good resource to have throughout that process. She is very easy to communicate with and super responsive. Each time we got a notification that our sneak peeks or our gallery was available we were so excited and could not believe how good our pictures turned out. We love the natural editing and effortless feel of her photography style. We would 10/10 recommend using her and we can’t wait for her to capture more moments for us in the future!

I cannot express how great of an experience we had with Mariah. She was everything we could have asked for and more. Not only a FANTASTIC photographer, but a go to person throughout the day. She was incredible helping navigate the stress of the day and being there every step of the way to help with what she could. She is FUN, organized, and made the day so special. Our photos were beautiful we could not be happier. I highly recommend Mariah for all your wedding photo needs. From engagement session to the final day, there is not a single thing I was disappointed about.

"11/10 would recommend mariah!!
11/10 would recommend mariah!!! seriously.. no one can beat 11 out of 10 BUT her. We had our wedding in northern wisconsin at the summer camp we met at and let’s just say i’m obsessed. mariah wanted to know all the details of our story, what we wanted in pictures, and she captured our story through beautiful photos. She was flexible, communicative through the process, and made sure we had everything we needed. My husband is a photographer himself and let’s just say he enjoys taking pictures, not being in them and we felt so comfortable with Mariah. She was able to take amazing candids. Mariah even went out of her way to meet us at the local dairy stop after hours!!! She was so wonderful and flexible… i mean, who wouldn’t want to get ice cream and take wedding pictures?!
I would highly recommend Mariah for any photography needs! She was amazing.

Mariah is one of the best! She was absolutely incredible to work with throughout the whole process and is super quick getting the pictures back to you! She is very knowledgeable and prepared on how to capture each and every moment and all of the pictures turned out way better than we could’ve ever imagined. She was also great at organizing our large family to get everyone’s pictures with us after the ceremony. We are so thankful for Mariah and everything she was able to do for us and are so happy to be able to have her at our wedding. She fit right into our wedding and interacted with everyone extremely well. I would recommend Mariah over absolutely anyone else because she truly is the best you’re going to get and will make a great friend out of it as well!
