I almost always prefer to shoot outdoors. But, Wisconsin decided to snow. So what better location than a greenhouse? They are filled with beautiful light and plants! Not all greenhouses are the same, some have natural light or a semi clear top. Either way the diffused light lets any angle look gorgeous! With engagement season upon me and just getting out of the winter months I knew I needed a pick me up session.

The Flower Shoppe in Gillett, Wisconsin has been where I’ve gotten all my flowers from the past three years. So, naturally it was my first thought when I was looking for greenhouse. The staff is AMAZING, and while you’re there you will completely forget it’s cold outside! The Flower Shoppe has a wide variety of perennials and annuals, along with various garden plants! Also their Oconto Falls, Wisconsin location provides bouquets for any occasion.

At someone else’s business, I always do my best to not be a distraction to other customers. But that makes things more fun and challenging! This greenhouse is cozy so there isn’t that much room to have any far away shots or playaround while walking/running like my typical couples sessions go. So I went the more editorial, story-telling, and intimate route for this greenhouse photoshoot.
