Engagement sessions should be FUN! I love when couples come to me with a location that has meaning to them. Not do they get to reminisce but the couple get photos that’ll last a lifetime. If you don’t have a location in mind for your engagement session no worries! I am here to the rescue, lately I have been loving my beach sessions.
Afterall planning a wedding is no easy task. It’s long and hard work so why not have some messy, dirty fun during your engagement session. Of course you want those nice smiling photos for your grandparents fridge. Those are always included, haha, but at the end of the session don’t worry about messing up your dress. Get into that water, roll around in the sand, snuggle up for those close intimate shots, again engagement sessions should be FUN!
Questionnaires are a great way for photographers to get to know their clients. As a client you can reach out to your photographer to schedule a meeting, either in person or virtual. Feel out the vibes during that phone call. Engagements sessions shouldn’t be the first interaction between client and photographer.
Personally, I love when adventurous and intimate couples book with me because that’s when my creativity FLOWS. I love creating a space where both parties feel comfortable around me. Lots of laughter, kissing, and intimacy is what you will find in my work. If you don’t like PDA that’s okay, it’s not everyone’s jam. But, that would mean we probably won’t be the right fit for each other. Finding the perfect fit between client and photographer helps both parties! You will fall in love with your photos if you like their editing style, shooting style, and their character.

Being in Wisconsin we don’t have ocean beaches, or mountains in the distance but we can make magical moments with what we are given. Lake Michigan is gorgeous in the summertime, while the fall brings the colorful autumn leaves.
